Collaborative Discussions Panel #1 Related Seminars and Products

One of the most popular elements of last year's conference was the Collaborative Discussions Session, which consisted of four speakers rotating around the room, presenting four different open-ended topics to the audience, which itself is divided into four small groups. Each group hears the speakers' introductory presentation, and then they engage in a free-form conversation on the subject. The purpose of this presentation format is to spark thought and drive active engagement from the audience.

Dr. McKinley learned of chiropractic in the 7th grade from his best friend’s father, who was a chiropractor. This was intriguing to him as it was a way to help people become healthy and stay healthy without drugs or surgery. This realization lead him to later graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1989. Dr. Mckinley has been in practice since 1990, and is the clinical director of Middle Tennessee Spine & Joint. Bill Moreau DC, DACBSP, FACSM Related Seminars and Products

As the leader of medical services for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Dr. Bill Moreau worked with Olympic and Paralympic teams where he was responsible for the care of thousands of Team USA athletes, provided by more than 200 clinicians from numerous health care disciplines. During his tenure at USOC, Dr. Moreau served as the Team USA chief medical officer during the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, and the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games as well as serving as the medical director for the the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Over his more than 30-year career, he has also treated collegiate, high school and recreational athletes.

Dr. Moreau is a licensed chiropractic physician and a board-certified Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). He has presented more than 500 lectures and postgraduate education programs throughout the world. Dr. Moreau is currently president of the ACBSP and is a member of the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine editorial review board.

Dr. Richard Seroussi is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in all aspects of physical rehabilitation, with an emphasis on musculoskeletal and neurologic injuries. 

He is on the clinical faculty at the University of Washington, and is board-certified in PM&R, pain medicine, and electrodiagnosis. Dr. Seroussi has a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from Princeton University, his MD from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, and his residency in rehab medicine from the University of Washington. Some of his more satisfying work activities include interacting with patients, supervising residents from the University of Washington, and improving the work flow in our clinic in the name of better patient care.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and friends. His recreational interests include skiing, cycling, and hiking activities.

Dr. Ron Wilcox became a chiropractic consultant for the Department of Labor and Industries in1995. Two years later, he took the chiropractic-approved examiners course to become an approved examiner for the Department. Since that time, Dr. Wilcox has been providing second opinion consults for local area chiropractors on their injured workers and rating or closing examinations for the Department. Dr. Morgan Young is the Associate Medical Director for Chiropractic at the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries.  He is a rural Western-Washington native and UW alum. He spent his formative chiropractic years in Silicon Valley at Palmer College of Chiropractic West and eight years of multi-disciplinary practice at Cisco Systems. His practice experience includes contracted work in occupational medicine at Kaiser Permanente and corporate onsite healthcare for the Stanford School of Medicine. His 10 years at Palmer West included research and lecturing across anatomy, diagnosis, evidence-based practices, and integrated care.
